About

Maartje Smits (1997) benadert kunst als een instrument voor bewustwording en persoonlijke groei. In haar schilderijen onderzoekt zij gevoel, intuïtie en het innerlijk landschap, los van de zichtbare realiteit. Door kleur en vorm in te zetten als dragers van een spirituele beleving nodigt zij de kijker uit tot reflectie en zelfonderzoek. Haar werk stimuleert het opnieuw toelaten van gevoel en het maken van authentieke keuzes, zowel voor zichzelf als voor de toeschouwer.
